Sabah Al Ahmed Center for Giftedness and Creativity was established in May 2010
as an initiative from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, in an
effort to support and nurture gifted and talented Kuwaiti individuals.
The establishment of the Center comes hand in hand with the country’s Strategic
Development Plan. The Center also embodies Kuwait’s commitment to encourage gifted
and talented youth, highlighting their achievements, promoting cultural innovations
and advancements in Kuwaiti society. Our aim is to build a clearer path towards greater participation
in the advancement of human knowledge and achievements.
Gifted and talented individuals are those identified as having high mental abilities
and potential in academic, artistic, leadership, and or psychomotor skills.
Creative individuals are those who use their mental ability to utilize familiar
objects in a fluent and flexible manner to produce original ideas with a social
application.
Innovative individuals are those who transform information, imagination, and initiatives
to greater or different values from resources including all processes by which new
ideas are generated and converted into useful products or services.

” Mawaheb ” Event at The Avenues
Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) is an initiative by HH the Emir of Kuwait to sponsor and support gifted and talented individuals in the community of all ages, and provide them with a support and mentoring platform that enables them to excel and become globally competitive in their fields.. SACGC’s latest activity is a three-day long gallery exhibition called “Mawaheb” to provide more than a dozen of Kuwait’s finest undiscovered talents a public platform to showcase their achievements. “Mawaheb” will take place this weekend between March 15-17 at the Avenues Mall, near Dean and Deluca.

Kuwait, 26 January 2011: In a shared commitment to provide the most advanced educational environment for Kuwait’s children, Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) today gifted The Scientific Center a verbally and physically indicative robot constructed fully from recycled material. The robot, given the name “SAC Ranger,” is a 2.4 meter tall robot constructed from recycled material collected from different areas across Kuwait. Materials include, recycled metals all the way from car dumpsters and old bathroom material. SAC Ranger will be on display at The Scientific Center starting January 26.
Amir receives KFAS’ top officials
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, on Tuesday, at Seif Palace, General Manager of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) Adnan Ahmad Shahab Al-Deen, Director of Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity Dr. Omar Al-Bannaye and Kuwaiti inventor Dr Ibrahim Rashdan Al-Rashdan who presented His Highness with an explanation of a medical equipment that would prevent any kidney failure during cardiac surgeries.

Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity {SACGC} held the first meeting to reach out to all Kuwaiti inventors in Kuwait. SACGC introduced, presented and educated Kuwaiti inventors on the opportunities that are available for them, along with the official mechanisms that will enable them to receive full help and support from the center.
Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity and Ministry of Education collaborate to implement educational programs Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), an organization established with a mandate to find, foster, and support gifted Kuwaitis, announced that it will collaborate with the Ministry of Education to design and implement educational programs that recognize and nurture gifted Kuwaitis at a very young age.
